Helicopter Flight

What do you get a guy for his birthday, when he already has lots of toys??? You get him a helicopter ride through the beautiful Texas Hill Country.

Thanks to the ingenuity of the WetDigital videographer, Robbie Ahlgren, and his generosity, I was treated to an all-expense paid flight on a Bell 47G (think M.A.S.H 4077th). We left the Georgetown airport at 10:30 for a flight across Lake Georgetown and up the beautiful San Gabriel River. A perfect, March day, a little windy, but sunny and warm.

It was an awesome experience, and as with all WetDigital adventures, it was fully documented with high resolution photos, and NOW!!! HDV (high definition video).

I will put up a sample video shortly in the Video section. I need to explore the best way to present HDV in a web format.
